Why do I need an NKU ALL CARD?
All students, faculty and staff must have an NKU ALL CARD.  Your ALL CARD is your official NKU identification card, imprinted with your photograph and an assigned ID number. The ALL CARD allows you to be recognized as member of the University community. It also enables you to enjoy discounts and gain access to services and activities.

How do I get an NKU ALL CARD?
New students should visit the ALL CARD office during Orientation or as early as two weeks before classes begin and at least two business days after class registration.  Please bring a current driver's license, state-issued photo ID, or passport.  It takes just a few minutes for us to take your picture and make your ALL CARD.  New employees should visit the office after hiring paperwork has been entered into the HR system or 24 hours after we receive notification of your employment from your department.

Is there a cost for the NKU ALL CARD?
Your first ALL CARD is included in your tuition and fees, and should last throughout your time at NKU, even if you skip semesters.  If your ALL CARD is lost or stolen, a replacement ALL CARD can be obtained for $10.  An ALL CARD that does not work due to normal wear will be replaced for free if you bring it to our office.

Why should I add money to my ALL CARD?
By adding money to your ALL CARD Dollar account, you can enjoy convenience and savings at drink vending machines (10% discount), campus dining locations (6% discount), copiers (50% discount), and laundry (discounted).  You can also use this account to make purchases at the NKU Bookstore, snack vending machines, B.O.K concessions, Student Union game room, for computer lab printing, and to pay library fines.  You don't have to worry about carrying cash.  It's a great way for residential students to supplement their meal plans, and for commuter students and faculty/staff to take advantage of campus discounts.

How can I (or my parents) add money to my ALL CARD?
Your ALL CARD Dollar account allows you the convenience and savings of making purchases on campus without having to carry cash.
You can add money to your NKU ALL CARD:
1) at the ALL CARD website: credit/debit card ($10 minimum)
2) in the ALL CARD office: cash & check (no minimum), credit/debit card ($10 minimum)
3) at the Steely Library 3rd floor CVC machine: $1-$20 currency
4) by mail: check & money order (no minimum), credit/debit card ($10 minimum)
5) or for Faculty/Staff: through Human Resources payroll deduction.
The amount in your ALL CARD Dollar account is reduced with each purchase that you make.

Do I lose unspent ALL CARD Dollars at the end of the semester?
Good news!  Unspent ALL CARD Dollars carry forward to the next semester, and remain on your account until used.
(top)

How can I check the transaction history of my meal plan and ALL CARD Dollar account?
If you would like to see a history of your meal plan and ALL CARD Dollar purchases it may be viewed on the ManageMyID website or you may stop in the ALL CARD office and we will print it out for you.  All requests for histories made at the ALL CARD office must be made in person or in writing by the individual named on the account.
(top)

How can I check the balance on my ALL CARD Dollar account?
ALL CARD balances can be checked at the ALL CARD office or at the ManageMyID website. Balances can also be checked at the NKU Pay For Print website and most places where you make purchases such as, vending machines, copiers, and laundry rooms.

How do I sign up for a ManageMyID account?
Easy, just go to the ALL CARD website and click on the ManageMyID logo or on the links within this answer. It will automatically take you to the ManageMyID site to begin setting up your account. Just follow the instructions and your account will be set up. (Please note that you may use a different email and password than you have with NKU and you must enter your ISO number and name exactly as it appears on your ALL CARD.)

What are points?
Points are the same as ALL CARD Dollars. The terms are used interchangeably. $1 = 1 Point or 1 ALL CARD Dollar

How do I sign up for/change my residential meal plan?
Residential students can sign up for and make changes to their meal plans by contacting the NKU University Housing department in Norse Commons.  Changes must be made within the first two weeks of each semester, so make sure you know which plan you are on, and how to use it.

How do I sign up for a commuter/faculty/staff meal plan?
The NKU Dining Services website has details about the commuter/faculty/staff meal plans.  You can purchase a commuter/faculty/staff meal plan by using your credit card on their website.
(top)

Can I use ALL CARD Dollars in addition to a residential or commuter/faculty/staff meal plan?
Yes!  Meal plans with dining flex can be used for food only, but ALL CARD Dollars can be used by all cardholders for dining, vending, NKU Bookstore, laundry, copiers, game room, Steely Library fines, Bank of Kentucky Center concessions, and computer lab printing.  ALL CARD Dollars are an excellent way to supplement a meal plan, and for all cardholders to enjoy discounts and convenience on campus.
(top)

How do I use my meal plan?
Once you have purchased a residential meal plan through the University Housing office, or a commuter block plan on the Dining Services website, you simply present your NKU ALL CARD at the authorized location(s). Your ALL CARD will be swiped, and a meal or flex dollars will deducted.

What is an ISO number?
Your ISO number is the same as your NKU ALL CARD number.  It is a 16-digit number that is assigned when your ALL CARD is made.
(top)

How do I change my NKU email/network account password?
You can change your NKU email/network account password at: http://www.nku.edu/password. You will need the last eight digits of your current ISO number and the last four digits of your social security number to change the password.  Additional assistance is available at http://it.nku.edu/.
(top)

My password has expired and I can't find my ALL CARD to get my ISO number. Is there a way to get my current ISO number?
Sure! Just stop by the ALL CARD office or send us an email. For an email request, send your full name and the last four digits of your social security number from an email address you have access to. We will return your ISO number to the email address you send the request from.

My ALL CARD has been lost/stolen-what should I do?
Contact the ALL CARD office immediately or log in to your ManageMyID account and a "hold" will be placed on your ALL CARD so that no one else can use it.  If you find it, stop in our office so that we can take off the hold.  If you don't find it, we can issue a replacement ALL CARD for $10, and reactivate your ALL CARD Dollars and other functions.  Once you have a replacement ALL CARD with a new ISO number, your old ALL CARD will no longer work, and cannot be reactivated.  If you use your ALL CARD for door access, be sure to notify the University Housing office or university department that your ISO number has changed.
(top)

My ALL CARD doesn't seem to work any more-what should I do?
Stop in the ALL CARD office so that we can check your card.  If your ALL CARD stops working due to normal wear, we will replace it at no cost.  If it has been deliberately damaged (hole punched, etc.), there is a $10 replacement fee.  If we issue a replacement ALL CARD with a new ISO number, you will need to notify the University Housing office or university department that your ISO number has changed for door access.  If you are trying to use an old ALL CARD that has been replaced, it cannot be reactivated.

How is the ALL CARD connected to U.S. Bank and how do I sign up?
If you choose, you may have your NKU ALL CARD linked to a free U.S. Bank checking account by contacting the U.S. Bank branch in the NKU University Center.  This makes your ALL CARD an ATM card, and a pin-protected debit card for off-campus purchases.  Many students, faculty and staff  find this to be much more convenient than having two separate cards.  (Please note: the U.S. Bank account is separate from the ALL CARD Dollar account). Contact the ALL CARD office or U.S. Bank campus branch with any questions.

I'm taking web classes only.  How do I get an ALL CARD?
If you have not been issued an NKU ALL CARD, contact the ALL CARD office by email two weeks prior to the start of the semester to request one.  Include your full name and the last four digits of your social security number.  This is an accommodation for web course students only, who live too far away to get to campus.  If you will be taking any classes on our local campuses, you will need to visit our office for an ALL Card so that we can take your picture.
(top)

I'm a returning student.  Will my old ALL CARD still work?
If you have the blue NKU ALL CARD, it will be automatically re-activated when the semester begins.  You do not need to get another ALL CARD.

I attend evening classes.  Can I get an ALL CARD then?
The ALL CARD office is open two evenings per week during Fall and Spring semesters, and one evening per week during summer.  Check our web page, front door, or call us for current information.
